The "Cinema Paradiso", by Innovative Theatres™ is a world-class cinema in a minimal modernist style, closely following the design influence of the main home...a breath-taking contemporary hillside structure nestled in tropical gardens and overlooking the Malibu Coast.
From a very early point in this significant project, Innovative Theatres worked with the principal architect and builder to review and revise structural drawings for a dedicated home theatre/office addition. Innovative designers carefully space planned and detailed the entire addition including the home theater, theater bath and home office to function as a completely integrated design unit, coordinating materials, custom cabinetry, lighting, computer & AV cabling and all theater technology and electronics.
During the construction phase, Innovative Theatres provided on-site consulting for all technical installations including pre-wire, lighting, in-wall room acoustics, mechanical/H.V.A.C, and over-all layout.
Once rough construction was complete, Innovative Theatres took the helm of the project providing complete fabrication and installation of all finished elements including theater and home electronics, custom cabinetry, theater seating, custom acoustics, fiber-optic lighting, carpet, wall coverings, art, and accessories.
The finished product, Cinema Paradiso, is not just "another pretty theater." For Innovative Theatres and for one very "tech-savy" client, this room is one of the finest examples of seamless integration of theater architecture and the application of cutting-edge technology.
